    The Prime Air Structural Engineering Team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager; someone capable of managing projects across the mechanical, electromechanical, materials, and manufacturing engineering realms. In addition to project management breadth, this individual must support both prototype programs and support maturing component/assemblies programs in parallel. We’re looking for people who innovate and love solving hard problems! You will be given exciting challenges, have fun, and of course, make history!

    The ideal candidate will have experience with structural and design engineering teams helping them successfully in the following ways.
    • Develop joint system-level maturation timelines and tease out critical milestones
    • Encourage continual improvements in scheduling approach, planning, and performance tracking
    • Look around corners for unknowns, and unblocking progress
    • Help uncover new vendors who can support maturing program needs
    • Work across our vendor base and their suppliers to ensure we adhere to schedule
    • Find creative technical approaches to encourage frugality and to invent & simplify

    Basic Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications
    • BS or MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering or in the Material Sciences.
    • 10+ years’ work experience (or equivalent educational experience) in Aerospace, Automotive, and/or the Medical field or a combination thereof
    • 5+ years’ experience in project management of hardware and/or structures development from concept to mass production.
    • Experience with product lifecycle management and engineering change control processes and tools. Enovia and CATIA V6 preferred.
    • Good understanding of EBOM's, MBOM's, and PBOM's including configuration control of both as designed and as built vehicles.
    • Experience in project management in more than 1 of the following areas – mechanical, structures, electromechanical, materials/process, or manufacturing. Composite experience preferred.
    • Experience with prototype development as well as production validation, and verification principles.
    • Experience in certifying new products in heavily regulated industries, such as the FAA, DoD, or FDA.
    • Experience with project planning software
    • Experience with project budget planning

    • 15 years’ experience in hardware/structures development in aforementioned fields
    • Experience in engineering documentation (electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, requirements documentation, interface control)
    • Manufacturing documentation development experience
    • International manufacturing experience
    • Experience with software/firmware development
    • Experience developing engineering and simulation tools for design, analysis or testing.
    • Experience with cost down planning, estimation, and execution for mechanical and structural components
