Amazon People Technology is migrating its core human capital management (HCM) software to Workday. In the process of this migration, we are building a new software ecosystem which allows us to integrate with upstream and downstream business critical systems such as recruiting and payroll. We are looking for an experienced software development manager that will manage engineers who would building integrations on this ecosystem and securely exchange Amazon’s workforce data with our internal systems and external vendors. You will own the goals and roadmap of our People Data systems to meet the needs of Amazon’s global workforce. In this role, you will manage and develop and lead a world-class engineering team responsible for rethinking the assumptions behind how workforce management is done in a corporate setting. You will draw from your deep and broad technical expertise to hire and mentor engineers, and provide leadership on complex technical issues.

Experience with Amazon Web Services
Deep understanding of enterprise systems and data integration
Deep understanding of agile project management methodologies
Experience writing production code
Experience with global technology implementation efforts
Experience with software quality assurance and performance testing
