Amazon Connections is looking for a strategic, results-oriented Sr. Product Manager Technical (PM-T) to own and drive several key components of our product portfolio. This individual will be responsible for helping to define and drive Connection’s strategy around onboarding additional employee populations, expanding to new device clients, and scaling our product to support new use cases. In this role you will work closely with the Connections software engineering team and leadership, the Connections research team, as well as external partner teams including business teams across WW Operations, partners from recently acquired organizations, Retail, AWS, etc. This individual will play a significant role in defining the extensibility and externalization strategy for the product moving into 2019 and beyond. Useful skills for this role include experience in device client integrations, experience partnering with engineers to design API solutions, experience designing flexible customer-facing interfaces, and comfort with big data and analytics.
Additional responsibilities include: Team leadership and mentoring; define a strategy and product roadmap to create the best in class experience for Connections products and manage across products the prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, time-to-market, and operational support load; create and maintain business requirements, product definition, and user stories with input from business stakeholders; establishing priorities, identifying and communicating risks and mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders; developing and maintaining goals, milestones and completion dates; optimizing and using metrics to drive process improvement and efficiencies with a focus on creating scalable, repeatable systems within all Connections products; create buy-in for the strategic vision and product roadmap across the business and technology.
The successful candidate must have the ability to lead multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a very strong customer focus working closely with UX, engineering and business leadership to deliver the product vision.
