DESCRIPTION The AWS Greengrass is a new IoT initiative in Amazon and we’re pulling together a fantastic team to achieve our mission. In this role, you will be working closely with our AWS Greengrass service teams to help and get our ODM/OEM partners reference design board to test and verify those fundamental functionality and features set that AWS Greengrass are able to run and operate without any issues or problems for both offline and online scenario that is connected to AWS IoT platform. Furthermore, debug and troubleshooting in any aspect and reporting and issues back our ODM/OEM partners if we encounter any issues during our testing/validation process.
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or related field · At least 3+ years of industry experience focused on Linux kernel on x86 and ARM platform · Skilled in at least one of the scripting language such as bash, python, perl · Proficiency in at least one of the programming language such as C, C++, Java, Node.js and GO · Solid experiences on debugging and troubleshooting for platforms (such as Linux, Android or embedded system OS) · Version-management / source-code control experience, like Git. · Experience with hardware lab equipment such as digital scope and logic analyzer · Experience with manual AFQP and driver debugging with device partners · Technical document writing experience using Visio, Word, Excel, and / or PowerPoint
· Experience in firmware development is a plus · Experience in developing automated test suite is a plus · Experience in one or more specific IoT / M2M industry (i.e. business automation, health, asset tracking, smart utilities, etc.) is a plus · Familiarity with cloud and web services technologies (esp. JSON, REST, XML, MQTT, pub/sub, etc.).
