A Partner Solution Architect for High Performance Computing (HPC) partners enables the partner community in the many variants of HPC use cases. Experience across several types of workloads will aid in working across various HPC verticals. Expert knowledge in one or more of Health Care & Life Sciences, Media & Entertainment, Electronic Design Automation, Scientific Computing, Seismic Analysis, or Oil & Gas exploration use cases will give you a foundation for Diving Deep in the others. Working together with other customer facing and service teams, the right candidate will successfully help Partners to drive new HPC customer success in AWS while helping Partners innovate for the existing AWS customer base.
White-boarding complex cloud architectures with a roomful of engineers is as common an occurrence as briefing an executive audience. You will get the opportunity to work with a wide array of Partners, from well-established tech giants to innovative startups that were born in the cloud. You will have the opportunity to publish content and build your personal brand as a Cloud HPC thought leader. Blog posts, whitepapers, technical webinars and workshops, and even patents for what could potentially be a future AWS product or feature are all regular opportunities for the right candidate.
Experience working directly with customers is required, and prior experience working with either Consulting or Technology Partner communities is a plus.
Are you an HPC expert but have limited experience with AWS? No problem; experience with AWS is desired but not required. You will get the opportunity to ramp up on all things AWS, and you'll have access to the world's foremost experts in all things cloud. In your work with customers and Partners, you will regularly interface with AWS product teams.
