Job Description

AWS Enterprise Services Marketing team is looking for a digital marketing leader who can lead a team of digital marketing experts to execute digital marketing campaigns for AWS’s Enterprise Services Marketing team. This leader will be responsible for hiring and developing the best digital marketing talent for their team and building a culture of strong execution, learning and growth in alignment with Amazon’s Leadership Principles. Their team will partner with the Product Marketing Managers, Industry Marketing Managers and Enterprise Marketing managers to build and execute compelling digital campaigns that target technical decision makers and implementers throughout the product adoption lifecycle. These campaigns will have the goal of increasing awareness, driving trial, and ultimately, accelerate adoption.

This leader should have experience in people management, team leadership, strategy setting, hands-on implementation, project management, data analysis, creative problem solving and customer understanding. Ideal candidates are passionate about leading people, learning, testing, executing, driving awareness, adoption and retention through multi-channel digital marketing. The role will collaborate with many functional teams in AWS: product marketing, industry marketing, enterprise marketing, service teams, business intelligence, customer research, and field marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
· Hire and develop the best digital marketing talent to lead these campaigns.
· Develop the customer life cycle product adoption campaign strategy with key stakeholders
· Grow adoption of AWS services by driving awareness, demand, acquisition and customer retention through multi-channel digital campaigns
· Build effective awareness, acquisition, adoption and retention digital campaigns, such as email, web banner, advertising, social media.
· Analyze and report on performance metrics of digital campaigns and set up test plans to improve the campaign performance
· Compile learning and share best practices across teams to help achieve the most effectiveness
· Collaborate across multiple teams to identify and accomplish goals

Basic Qualifications

· 7+ year experience in building and executing digital promotional campaigns that drive impact: e.g. email, web banner, social media, web page
· Experience leading and managing teams
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication, computer science, or engineering.
· Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
· Strong execution capability with highest standards in a rapidly evolving business
· Excellent communication, planning, presentation and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
  • 10+ year experience building and executing digital promotional campaigns that drive high impact on behalf of a cloud provider
  • Experience designing and building audience segmentation and targeting strategies to increase the impact of your campaign
