Senior Product Manager – Amazon Web Services/ Storage Gateway Service team - Boston, MA (Seaport District): Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon, with over a million active customers in 190 countries. AWS Storage Gateway is a rapidly growing service developed and operated out of our Seaport District office in Boston, MA. This service enables customers to seamlessly connect their on premise IT infrastructure to AWS storage services (e.g. S3, EBS, and Glacier), and in doing so helping them realize the value of AWS while preserving their existing applications and IT processes. The service enables use cases that can benefit from cloud storage, including backup and restore, disaster recovery, and migration of applications to AWS.
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Amazon Storage Gateway Service team! In this position, you’ll be an owner in innovating and delivering disruptive value to our customers, expanding customer adoption and usage growth, and raising the bar in ensuring we deliver the best possible customer experience.
As a Principal Product Manager, you own the customer experience and you drive growth and business results. You will:
- Find opportunities to innovate on behalf of our customers, build business cases and design features related to these opportunities
- Drive our go-to-market approach, including pricing, marketing, and sales force engagement
- Measure and analyze all aspects of the business
- Identify and drive operational improvements and cost reductions
We’re looking for a tenacious self-starter with a passion for the cloud storage market and who can serve as a strong advocate for our customers. You should have excellent analytical capabilities, strong writing skills, services-based business experience, and the desire to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. You must have a track record of understanding customer needs and delivering technology solutions to address those needs.
