At Amazon, the Last Mile Technology group is responsible for envisioning and developing cutting edge initiatives in delivering packages to our customers as fast and as cost effectively as possible. We own the software that enables package deliver for parcels, Prime Now (one hour ultrafast delivery), Restaurants and AmazonFresh. With Amazon Flex, we enable individuals to be their own boss and earn money while delivering packages for Amazon. In all cases, we are working on the technology that ensures we are providing a great experience for package delivery to customers.
We are looking for a strong leader to lead our software organization for Provider Technology. This organization owns the foundational technology used to partner with hundreds of thousands of delivery companies/providers/associates across the globe to generate the supply needed to run a successful Last Mile operations. The leader in this space will help envision and build products across recruiting, onboarding, account management, payments, reconciliation, performance, core services, and business intelligence.
The leader owning this space will build out the teams, create the product and technical vision, and guide the teams towards successful delivery. In addition to developing and operating these systems, this leader will be responsible for innovating in the delivery space; enabling more efficient deliveries, pursuing large scale automation, and helping the business scale.
